In the spirit of Nehemiah 8:2, we remember the moment when Ezra, the priest, brought forth the law before Your people, addressing both men and women, and all who could hear with understanding on the first day of the seventh month.

Heavenly Father, as Ezra stood before the congregation, we recognize today that Your Word must hold paramount importance in our lives. Just as the people in the days of Ezra gathered to hear the teachings of the law, help us to cultivate an unquenchable desire to draw near to Your Holy Scriptures. Lord, instill within us a longing to listen, to comprehend, and to apply Your Word deeply in our hearts.

Thank You, gracious Lord, for providing us with the Scriptures, a treasure trove of divine guidance and instruction.
