Heavenly Father,

Lord, I understand the importance of truthfulness and the implications it has on my life and the lives of those around me. I seek Your guidance as I strive to embody this principle in my thoughts, words, and actions.

O Lord, I thank You for being the ultimate source of truth. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. In a world that is often clouded by misconceptions, half-truths, and outright deceit, I earnestly ask You to help me ground myself in Your truth. May I develop a heart that reflects righteousness, honoring the commitment I have made to speak truthfully, even when it is difficult.

Father, guard my tongue and my heart. Help me filter every word that comes out of my mouth through the lens of Your truth. Instill within me the desire to be a bearer of truth, not just for my own sake, but for the benefit of those who hear me.
