O Heavenly Father, Creator of all that is good and just, I come before You today with a heart brimming with gratitude and praise. I pause to reflect on the profound wisdom and gentle guidance found in Your Word, particularly in Psalms 100:2, which encourages us to "Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing." This verse speaks volumes about the nature of our relationship with You and the heart posture with which we ought to approach our service.

As I meditate on this truth, I acknowledge the weight of Your call to serve You—not with reluctance or sorrow, but with an exuberant heart filled with gladness. Lord, I pray that You would examine my heart, revealing to me any tendency toward obligation that might mar my joy in serving You. Help me to remember that You, O Lord, do not desire half-hearted service or a burdened spirit, but rather, You long for me to delight in the opportunity to serve You, to celebrate every moment I am allowed to work in Your Kingdom.

Father, remind me daily of the infinite joy that comes from serving You. Let my heart overflow with the gladness that accompanies knowing You and being in Your presence. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that my very service is an act of worship to You. May I reflect the joy of salvation in all that I do, reminding others of Your goodness and grace. Help me to approach each task with enthusiasm, seeing the value and significance in even the smallest of duties when they are done in Your name.

Lord, I pray for strength and courage as I face the challenges of serving You. There are days when my joy might dim under the weight of worldly worries or personal struggles. But in those moments, I ask that You remind me of true joy found in Your presence. Help me to cast aside any burdens that weigh down my spirit and to focus instead on the lightness of being in Your care. Let Your joy be my strength, empowering me to serve faithfully, even when the road seems steep.
