Eternal and Gracious Father,

We come before You today with humble hearts, recognizing the vastness of Your greatness and the depth of Your mercy. As we reflect upon the words of Psalm 106:21, "They forgat God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt," we are reminded of the tendency of our hearts to forget Your unfailing love and the mighty works You have performed throughout history and in our own lives.

Lord, we confess that, at times, we are like the Israelites who witnessed Your miraculous signs in Egypt—the plagues that set them free, the parting of the Red Sea that led them to salvation, and the provision of manna in the wilderness. Yet, in the busyness of our days and the distractions of this world, we often fail to remember all that You have done. We forget that You are our Savior, who has delivered us from our own bondage and sin and who continually walks with us on our journey through this life.

We repent, O God, for the moments when we act as if Your great works are far removed from us, for the times we have allowed the challenges and struggles of life to overshadow our acknowledgment of Your presence and intervention. You have performed miraculous things in our spiritual Egypt, taking us from darkness into light, from despair into hope. Help us to hold steadfastly to these truths, never allowing the miracles of our past to fade into the shadows of forgetfulness.

As we gather our thoughts in prayer, we lift up our voices to remind ourselves of the faithful acts You have displayed. You have been our Shepherd, guiding us through valleys and over mountains. You have brought healing where there was brokenness, solace where there was fear, and strength where we felt powerless. Your hand has been over us, Lord, orchestrating the symphony of our lives in alignment with Your divine purpose.

Father, strengthen our resolve to remember. May we cultivate practices that help us cherish each promise You have fulfilled. Teach us to write down the moments of divine intervention, to speak them to our friends and families, and to share our testimonies, so that our hearts may always be aligned with the memory of Your goodness. Help us engage with Your Word daily, to continually hear the account of what You have done for those You love.

Lord, let us not fall into apathy nor neglect the rich legacy of faith that surrounds us. May we be diligent in nurturing a spirit of gratitude and remembrance in our lives. Inspire us to encourage one another, reminding each other of Your faithfulness. Let us testify of Your love and grace, ensuring that Your great deeds are always on our lips.

As we remember, may we overflow with gratitude, standing in awe of who You are. Let this remembrance transform us into vessels of Your love, testimony, and grace. May the great things You have done in our own lives motivate us to seek others who need to know of Your redeeming power.

Help us, O Lord, to carry forth the flame of remembrance, igniting in us a faithful response to all that You have done. May we live lives that honor You, embodying the truth that You are still and always will be the God who saves. Let every day be a testament to Your love, mercy, and grace, a continuous declaration that we will not forget our God, our Savior.
