Heavenly Father,

With a humble heart, I come before You, recognizing the greatness of Your glory and the depth of Your wisdom. In the stillness of this moment, I seek Your presence and your guidance, reminding me of the words found in Psalm 143:10, "Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness."

Lord, I acknowledge that my understanding is limited, and my path is often obscured by the shadows of confusion and doubt. Life can be overwhelming, filled with choices and directions that often feel like forks in the road with no clear signposts. In those moments, I desire nothing more than to seek Your will, to align my intentions and actions with Your divine purpose for my life.

As I reflect on the plea, "Teach me to do thy will," I realize the importance of submission and surrender to Your plans. I ask that You open my heart and mind to Your teachings, allowing Your wisdom to penetrate my very being. Help me to quiet my own desires and ambitions, and replace them with a longing to follow Your ways. May I never forget that Your will is not just good, but also perfect and pleasing (Romans 12:2).

Father, grant me the humility to recognize my need for Your guidance. I confess that there have been times I relied on my own understanding, allowing pride to cloud my judgment. Teach me, gentle Shepherd, to seek advice from Your Word, and let it be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105). May Your scriptures shape my thoughts and my decisions, leading me away from the temptation to follow the ways of the world, which are often contrary to Your purpose.

As I pray for Your will to be revealed, I also cling to the truth that 'Thou art my God.' What comfort and assurance it brings to know that I have a divine guide who loves me unconditionally and desires the best for me. You are not a distant deity but a caring Father who desires to walk with me daily. Remind me always of this relationship, steering my actions in ways that honor You and reflect Your love to others.

"Thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness." Lord, I thank You for Your Holy Spirit, who resides within me as a counselor and comforter. I pray that Your Spirit may guide me into righteousness, helping me discern right from wrong, and enabling me to choose the path that leads to integrity and honor. Help me to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—in every aspect of my life (Galatians 5:22-23).

As I navigate this earthly journey, I ask for the strength to stand firm in my convictions, to be bold in my faith, and to strive for uprightness even when it is challenging. Allow me to be a beacon of Your light in a world that often finds itself in darkness. May my actions speak volumes about You, pointing others towards Your grace and salvation.

Lord, lead me into the land of uprightness, where I can experience the joy and peace that comes from living according to Your will. Let my life be a testimony of Your goodness and a reflection of Your righteousness. May I always seek to glorify Your name in every decision I make, and may I find rest and solace in the knowledge that You are directing my steps.
