O Sovereign Lord, God of all truth and light, I come before You in reverence and awe, reflecting on the profound words of Psalm 31:5, which say, "Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth." In this moment of prayer, I pause to acknowledge Your majesty and the depths of Your love that reach out to us every day.

Lord, I recognize that my spirit, the essence of who I am, is often filled with confusion and tumult. The world around me can feel overwhelming, and the trials I face sometimes seem insurmountable. Yet, as I meditate on this scripture, I am reminded that it is in Your hands where I find my ultimate safety and peace. You hold my spirit, Lord, and I trust in Your ability to sustain and guide me through each difficulty I encounter.

As I lay my burdens before You, I commit my spirit again into Your capable hands. I relinquish my fears and anxieties, laying them at Your feet, for I know that You care for me deeply. Help me discern Your will amidst the noise of life's distractions. When I grow weary and unsure, remind me of Your promises and teach me to lean on them wholeheartedly. In your hands, I find courage; in Your truth, I find certainty.

Lord, I also recognize that committing my spirit to You is not a one-time act, but a daily surrender. Each morning, as the sun rises and brings a new day, may I awake with a heart eager to offer my spirit to You. Help me to cultivate a habit of surrender—of letting go of my plans and anxieties and letting You lead me.

O LORD, my God, teach me to trust in You more fully. Help me to invite You into every aspect of my life—the decisions I make, the relationships I nurture, and the dreams I pursue. May my commitment of my spirit to You open doors of potential, revealing paths of purpose that are rooted in Your divine plans.
