O Almighty and Sovereign Lord,

In this sacred moment, we come before You, mindful of Your unfailing presence and Your steadfast love. We turn our hearts towards You, seeking refuge and strength, fully aware of the trials and tribulations that surround us. As we meditate on the words of Psalm 35:25, "Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up," we recognize the weight of these words that reflect deep anguish and the desire for justice amidst adversaries.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that there are times in our lives when it seems like the forces of evil, pride, and malice conspire against us, attempting to bring us down and extinguish the light of hope within our hearts. Lord, there are moments where our enemies rejoice at our struggles, where they plot in their hearts, saying, "So would we have it," thinking they have triumphed over us. But, gracious God, You remind us that You are our defender, our protector, and our avenger.

Lord, we ask that You thwart every plan that has been devised against us, against our families, against our communities, and against our purpose in this life. Let the strategies of those who seek to harm be turned back; let their words of false triumph and their silent victories be silenced by Your mighty hand.

You, O Lord, are the God who sees all! You know, even before it is spoken, the hearts that plot against us. You know the injustices we face, the accusations made in dark corners, and the whispers that seek to undermine the truth. We beseech You, Father, to intervene in every situation where we may feel swallowed up by despair, ridicule, or abandonment. In those moments when the enemy seeks to overshadow us, help us to remember Your promise— that You will never leave us nor forsake us.

Help us, Lord, to stand with unwavering faith, even when the storm rages around us. Remind us that we are not alone, for You are our stronghold and our refuge. Ensure that our hearts remain resilient, unwavering, and steadfast in the face of adversity. Teach us to respond not with bitterness or fear but with love, understanding, and an unwavering commitment to Your will.

As we cry out for justice, we trust in Your righteousness. We understand that it is not our place to seek vengeance but to leave judgment in Your capable hands. Let those who would rejoice at our downfall instead witness Your providence working in our lives. May their plans be confounded, their pride brought low, and their hearts turned towards You, O Lord. Let them see the glory of Your deliverance in us and recognize that they have miscalculated the power of Your resolve.

In our darkest hours, let Your light shine ever-brighter. We claim the promise that You will arise and defend us, for Your Word assures us of Your nearness in times of trouble. Our God, let our enemies be ashamed; let their confidence falter. May they know that they cannot sway us nor swallow us up, for we are covered by the armor of Your love and the blood of the Lamb.

Finally, we pray, Father, for those who bear animosity against us. We ask not only for our deliverance but for their hearts to be softened. Convert their malice into compassion, their hatred into love, and their darkness into Your marvelous light. Grant them a glimpse of the truth— that Your grace is abundant and can transform any heart.
