Heavenly Father,

I come before You today in awe and gratitude for the profound example You have set before us in the lives of those who labor tirelessly in Your name. As I reflect on the passage from Romans 16:6, where it is written, "Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us," I am reminded of the countless individuals like Mary, whom You have chosen to uplift and support the body of Christ through their unwavering dedication and commitment.

Lord, I thank You for the spirit of service that You ignite within the hearts of Your people. May I never take for granted the labor that others invest in our lives—those who work in quiet humility behind the scenes, pouring out their time, energy, and love into the service of others. Just as Mary bestowed much labor, let her example inspire me to give of myself selflessly, to be the hands and feet of Christ in a world that often prioritizes self-interest above all else.

Father, let me recognize and honor the sacrifices of those who serve without seeking recognition. May I greet them with the love and appreciation they deserve, understanding that in doing so, I also honor the work You are accomplishing through them. Help me to extend a warm greeting, not just to the Marys in my life, but to all who exhibit a spirit of generosity and commitment to Your work. Teach me to express my gratitude openly, as this fosters a culture of love and appreciation within our communities.

Grant me the eyes to see the beauty in service, Father. In a world that often equates success with possessions and power, I ask that You help me to see the glory in humility and hard work—the quiet acts of kindness that lay the foundation for Your kingdom. Encourage me to join my hands with those who labor tirelessly, offering my gifts, talents, and resources in support of their endeavors. May the example of Mary move me beyond my comfort zone and into action, so that together, we can serve You and one another in fruitful partnership.

Lord, raise up more individuals like Mary among us, who are willing to bestow much labor for the sake of the Gospel. Instill in us a collective passion and commitment to serve our communities. May we be a church known for our love, a community unified in our efforts to spread Your light. As we watch those among us labor, let us not forget to cheer them on, encouraging them in their work. Let our lives be a testament to the truth that we are stronger when we lift each other up, rather than compete for esteem or accolades.

In my life, I pray for the wisdom to recognize my own capacity for service. Help me, O Lord, to seek out ways that I can contribute to the needs of others around me, following the example set by Mary. Allow my heart to be open to Your leading, to the call of service that may come in unexpected forms—be it through acts of kindness, provision, or simply offering a listening ear to those who feel burdened.

With a humble heart, I ask for Your guidance in making my labor in this world count. Thank You for the gift of community, for those who toil alongside us in pursuit of Your mission. May gratitude fill my heart in all that I do, and may I always remember that every act of labor, no matter how small, is part of a greater purpose unfolding through Your love.
