In my moments of doubt, may I echo the words of the beloved. When I feel separate from You, may I seek out those who understand this longing and can help point me back to the heart of the One my soul loves. Father, equip me with the knowledge of Your Word, that I may not falter in recognizing Your presence when it comes knocking at my door. Teach me to listen, to discern, and to recognize the signs when You come calling.
God, I ask for a heart that rejoices in Your nearness. Let me not just seek for the moments when I feel You close but to also embrace the still moments of silence, knowing that in that stillness, You are often working beneath the surface of my life. I plead for a love so fierce and devoted that it seeks You regardless of my circumstances.
In closing, I thank You, Lord, for being my ultimate Watcher. I thank You that You roam the city of my heart relentlessly, keeping watch over me. As I navigate this journey, may I continually cry out, "Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?" And may I always find You, the answer to my heart’s deepest yearning.
