We also pray for our land, as Your word speaks of a collective consumption of all things from off the land. We see the injustices, the idolatry, and the corruption that have woven into the fabric of our society. Lord, we plead for Your mercy upon our nation. We ask You to cleanse our land of all that defies Your will, all that tempts Your wrath. May Your consuming fire sweep across our communities, igniting a revival that brings countless souls to repentance.
We pray especially for our leaders, asking that You grant them the wisdom to seek Your will amidst the noise and chaos. Fill their hearts with Your truth, that they may lead our nation with integrity and righteousness, turning their faces toward You.
