An interpretation of a biblical scene from Matthew 28:9. Two women of mixed descents, one Caucasian and one South Asian, are on a path, rushing to deliver some news. Along the way, they are met by a Middle Eastern man, presumably a figure of devotion. The women, overtaken by respect and devotion, kneel before him, holding his feet. The emotion in the scene is reverent and imbued with significance. The art style is reminiscent of Pointillism—thousands of tiny, distinct dots of color form the image, creating an overall vibrance and depth. The image contains no text. Note that this is purely an artistic interpretation and should be respectful to the tenets of Christianity.
