Heavenly Father,

We are especially reminded of the words of 1 Chronicles 23:18, which declares, "Of the sons of Izhar; Shelomith the chief." Lord, in this simple phrase, we find a deep well of insight into leadership, responsibility, and the importance of following the paths that You set before us.

Shelomith, as a chief of the sons of Izhar, stands as a testament to the call of leadership that You place upon individuals. We thank You for leaders who guide us with wisdom and integrity. As we pray, we lift up those in positions of leadership—pastors, teachers, mentors, and community leaders—entrusting them to Your grace and wisdom. May they embody the qualities of Shelomith, leading with strength, humility, and a heart that seeks to honor You above all.
