Heavenly Father,

We come before You with gratitude and reverence, acknowledging the rich tapestry of our faith and the profound significance of our ancestry. As we meditate on the words from 1 Chronicles 23:20, “Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah the first, and Jesiah the second,” we are reminded of the importance of our lineage, both physical and spiritual. We thank You for the heritage You have bestowed upon us through our families, and for the legacy of faith passed down through generations.

Lord, just as Uzziel had sons destined for service, help us recognize the divine calling upon our lives and the lives of those who have gone before us. Teach us the value of honoring our forebears and the path they paved for us. Michah and Jesiah exemplify how You uniquely equip individuals for specific purposes within Your divine plan. Just as they were set apart for service, may we seek to understand our roles within the Body of Christ.
