Heavenly Father,

As I approach Your throne of grace today, I am reminded of the truth found in Your Word, particularly in 1 Chronicles 4:20, which states, "And the sons of Shimon were, Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi were, Zoheth, and Ben-zoheth." I take this moment to acknowledge the significance of lineage, heritage, and the intentional blessings You bestow upon families.

Lord, I thank You for the lineage that You have crafted through generations. Each name mentioned in the genealogical record, though perhaps overlooked, carries with it a legacy of faith, endurance, and purpose. Just as the descendants of Shimon and Ishi were recorded in the annals of Your history, I understand that my family and my name also hold a place in Your divine plan. May I never forget the weight and responsibility of being part of a lineage that seeks to honor You.

As I reflect on these names, I bring before You my own family.
