Heavenly Father,

We come before you today as humble servants, recognizing the depth and richness of your Word, as presented in 1 Chronicles 7:10, which speaks to us about the lineage of your people. Father, we pray for the spirit of Jediael, recognized as one who feared you and led his household in your ways. May we learn from Jediael that our faith must not only reside in our hearts but also translate into our families and communities. Help us to be leaders who guide the next generation towards you with unwavering faith.

We lift up each name mentioned in the verse—Bilhan, Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Chenaanah, Zethan, Tharshish, Ahishahar. Lord, we ask for a specific blessing upon our families and the names we bear. We also pray for those who have lost their way, families fragmented and broken. Bring healing, reconciliation, and restoration, O God. Just as the lineage you laid out reminds us of human complexity, may we be instruments of your peace to those who are struggling. Let us encourage them to rebuild their foundations upon you, reminding them that new beginnings are always possible in your love.

Finally, we thank you, Lord, for the promise that you have a plan for each of us and for those who follow in our footsteps.
