Heavenly Father,

As we gather in Your presence today, we come with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, ready to be drawn near to You, just as Elijah called the people to witness the power of Your glory. In 1 Kings 18:30, we read, "And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down." Lord, we acknowledge that we are called to draw near to You—to come with humility, to listen, and to seek intimacy in our relationship with You. We ask that as we approach, You would open our hearts and minds to Your truth, to repair every broken part of our spirit and altar in our lives.

Father, we recognize that just as the altar of the Lord was broken down, so too can our own lives become fragmented by the busyness of this world, by distractions, and by sin. We desire to bring our brokenness to You, Lord, and ask that You help us repair the altars in our hearts where worship, prayer, and devotion may have been neglected. May we clear away the rubble of disobedience, doubt, and worldly concerns that have kept us from fully surrendering to Your will.

Lord Jesus, You are the Great Restorer. We invite You into every broken place within us. Cleanse our hearts and minds, just as Elijah repaired the altar with care and intention. Help us to remove the compromise and the compromise-filled attitudes that have allowed false worship into our lives. Forgive us for the times we have looked to the things of this world for fulfillment instead of seeking You, the One who is the ultimate source of hope and joy.

As we draw even nearer, Holy Spirit, ignite in us a passion for revival—not just in our individual lives but in our families, our communities, and our nations. Let us be vessels of Your love and power, calling others to come near to You. May we become instruments of peace, bridging the gap between those who are lost and the unfathomable grace found in You, Lord.

Father, as we see Elijah’s boldness in proclaiming Your power, instill in us the courage to stand firm in faith. Let us not waver in our belief or falter in our declaration of who You are. Just as Elijah restored the altar for the purpose of worshiping You, may our lives be a living testimony of Your goodness and mercy. Let our daily actions and words reflect that which is true, good, and right.

We pray for a revival that begins within, to see Your light shine through us. As we come near, let Your fire fall upon the altars of our hearts, consuming anything that does not glorify You. We ask for You to transform our brokenness into something beautiful, a testimony of Your redeeming grace.

Help us to remain steadfast, to keep the altar of our lives built upon the foundation of prayer and worship. Teach us to prioritize our relationship with You above all else, reminding us that our strength lies in our dependence on You. We desire to be known as Your people, marked by Your love, and characterized by true worship.

Let us be ever aware of our calling: to repair the broken altars not just within ourselves, but in the lives of those around us. Let our repairs be a reflection of Your love and mercy unto others. Use us, Mighty God, to lead others back to You, to encourage them to draw near and experience the transformative power of Your presence.

We thank You, Lord, for the powerful example of Elijah and for the reminder that You are always ready to welcome us back into Your embrace. We seek to be faithful stewards of our lives, continually working towards restoration,
