O Lord God Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, as we approach Your presence, we humbly come with hearts filled with reverence and gratitude. We echo the words of the beloved King David, who in his final hours charged his son Solomon with wisdom and purpose. As it is written in 1 Kings 2:1, “Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying,” Lord, we recognize that these moments of life are precious, and we too yearn for the wisdom to impart to those we love before we depart this world.

In this profound moment, O God, we reflect on the weight of a father’s words and the legacy left behind. Lord, grant us the clarity of mind and depth of spirit to seize our own opportunities to guide others in the ways of righteousness and truth.
