O Lord our God,

We come before You with humble hearts, recognizing Your sovereignty and grace in our lives. We turn our attention to the poignant scripture found in 1 Samuel 30:27: "To them which were in Beth-el, and to them which were in south Ramoth, and to them which were in Jattir." These words resonate with us, drawing to mind the importance of community, generosity, and the sharing of burdens among brothers and sisters in Christ.

Lord, we acknowledge that You are aware of our trials and tribulations that we face in our respective towns and communities—whether we find ourselves in trying personal circumstances or in the midst of broader societal challenges. Just as David sent portions to those in Beth-el, Ramoth, and Jattir as a reflection of gratitude and unity, may we too be moved to extend kindness and support to those around us. Help us to be vessels of Your love, carrying forth encouragement to all whom we encounter.

Father, instill in us a spirit of generosity that mirrors Your abundant grace. We pray over our communities, Lord. We ask that as we offer support and assistance, those in Beth-el, Ramoth, and Jattir—and our local neighborhoods—would feel the embrace of Your love.
