O Sovereign Lord, the Almighty and Everlasting God, I come before You with a heart yearning for wisdom, guidance, and strength, as I reflect upon the words found in 2 Chronicles 19:11, which declares:

"And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good."

Heavenly Father, You are a God of order and righteousness, establishing leaders and guiding their paths to serve You and Your people. I lift up my voice in prayer, seeking Your grace and favor upon those whom You have appointed in leadership roles over nations, churches, and communities. Just as Amariah the chief priest wielded authority in matters pertaining to You, I pray that You grant our leaders—both spiritual and secular—the wisdom to guide us in accordance with Your divine will.

Lord, I recognize the immense responsibilities that come with leadership. Those in authority often grapple with difficult decisions, pressured to choose paths that may not always align with Your truth. I pray that You surround our leaders with wise counsel, just as You placed Amariah and Zebadiah alongside kings of old. Let their hearts be open to Your voice, so they may discern right from wrong, upholding justice and integrity in every choice they make. May they study Your Word diligently, allowing Your principles to infiltrate their hearts and minds. Guide them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all else will follow.

In a world riven with turmoil and uncertainty, I call upon the courage that You promised in this scripture. "Deal courageously," You said, and so I ask that You instill in the hearts of our leaders an undaunted spirit to act righteously, even when faced with opposition or fear. Lord, grant them the courage to stand up against injustice, discrimination, and corruption, for it is in their courage that the nations can be transformed. Help them to be steadfast in the face of adversity, knowing that You, o Lord, stand with the good.

Father, bless the Levites and all those in service to Your purpose. Let them find favor in their duties, serving as officers of peace and righteousness in the community—they are Your hands and feet in the world today. As they support the leaders appointed over them, may they carry out their responsibilities with integrity and honor. Let their work be a reflection of Your love and grace, drawing others towards You through their actions.

As we come together as a congregation, Lord, we pray for unity amongst our leaders. Let them work collectively towards common goals that align with Your laws and precepts. May their hearts be knit together in love as they champion causes of peace, social justice, and community empowerment. Help them to prioritize the needs of the marginalized and vulnerable, understanding that what they sow into the lives of others, they sow unto You.

We acknowledge that true courage comes from You, for You declared, "for the LORD shall be with the good." Therefore, I pray that all those who strive for goodness—be they in positions of authority or in the everyday lives of the people—will feel Your glorious presence in their endeavors. May the assurance of Your approval embolden them to pursue righteousness.

Lord, as we continue to seek You in prayer and supplication, may we also strive to embody the principles of justice and mercy in our daily lives. Help each of us to serve as effective ambassadors of Your kingdom, encouraging others to do good and to stand firm in their faith.

I conclude this prayer by entrusting our leaders, our communities, and our mission into Your capable hands. May we all, in every sphere of influence, deal courageously, assured that You are indeed with us in every good work. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
