O Lord, our God,

We come before You today with hearts humbled and minds attuned to Your greatness, echoing the profound reverence displayed by Jehoshaphat as he stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the LORD before the new court. Just as he gathered the people, seeking Your divine wisdom and guidance during tumultuous times, we, too, stand united in spirit, acknowledging our dependence upon You in every facet of our lives.

In the chaos of this world, we often find ourselves gripped by fear and uncertainty, just as Jehoshaphat did when faced with overwhelming odds. As he proclaimed with faith, we also lift our voices to declare Your sovereignty over our circumstances. Lord, remind us that no enemy, no matter how great or insurmountable, can stand against the power of our God. **"And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court."** Help us to find our place in Your house, standing not alone in our struggles but rather surrounded by the community of believers who share in the trust of Your promise.

O God, we seek Your face as Jehoshaphat did, pleading for Your guidance. We ask that You grant us the same boldness to stand before You, to cry out in our desperation and yet to trust in Your unfailing love. Teach us, Lord, to acknowledge our limits and to turn to You for strength. Help us to remember that we are not fighting our battles alone; You are our refuge and our fortress. As it is written, **"The battle is not yours, but God’s"** (2 Chronicles 20:15), may we release our burdens into Your capable hands and find peace in Your presence.

Father, as we gather in prayer and supplication, we ask that You fill us with Your Holy Spirit, igniting a fervor of faith that encourages us to step out in courage before the new court of our lives. Whether it be in our families, our workplaces, or within our communities, may we be ambassadors of Your truth and love. Teach us to stand firm against the trials and temptations we face, unwavering in our commitment to You.

We pray also for our leaders, as Jehoshaphat was a leader strong in faith, leading his people to the house of the LORD. Guide our hearts in supporting and praying for those in authority over us, that they may govern with wisdom and integrity. May they seek Your counsel, standing in the light of righteousness and justice, bringing glory to Your name.

In these trying times, Lord, we also beseech You for healing and restoration within our communities. Let our voices be lifted in unison, as we seek forgiveness for our shortcomings and make us instruments of peace amid turmoil. May our collective prayers be the bridge leading the lost to You. Enkindle in us a spirit of unity and love that overcomes division and strife, just as the people of Jerusalem came together under Jehoshaphat's leadership in seeking Your face.

Lord, we trust that You hear our prayers, that Your ears are attentive to our cries. As we reflect on the words of Jehoshaphat, instill in us his unwavering trust in Your deliverance. May we never forget that You are both our shield and our sword, always ready to defend us against our foes. We stand together today, reminded that You inhabit the praises of Your people, and we lift our voices in worship, surrendering our battles to You.
