A Prayer for Divine Guidance and Righteousness

O Heavenly Father,

Help me to surround myself with like-minded believers who will encourage me to walk in the ways of truth and righteousness. Heavenly Father, I also pray for our leaders and those in authority, both in the church and the world. May they seek Your guidance and stand firm in Your Word, avoiding the errors of Ahab and Jehoram. Lord, I intercede on behalf of our nation, that we may recognize the harm of turning our backs on Your principles. Raise up leaders who possess integrity and a heart after You, men and women who will follow Your precepts and inspire others to do the same.
Lord, give me a humble heart to recognize my failures and shortcomings, just as Jehoram’s reign was marked by error. I long to live a life that is pleasing in Your sight, bearing the fruits of the Spirit and reflecting Your love and grace in every interaction. As I face challenges and temptations, remind me to turn to You for strength rather than looking to secular solutions that lead me away from Your paths.
May I be ever aware of the weight of my choices and their impact not only on my life but on those around me. Help me to be a beacon of hope and righteousness, not a disobedient follower of worldly ways. I desire to bring honor to Your Name, walking in obedience and faithfulness, guided by Your wisdom and love.
In all things, Lord, I ask that You lead me away from the ways of evil and fill my heart with a desire to serve you diligently. Help me discern between what pleases You and what displeases You. Let me sow seeds of righteousness, committing my life fully to You, confident that it will bear good fruit in due season.
