O Heavenly Father,

I come before Thee today, acknowledging Thy infinite wisdom and grace. As I reflect upon the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, I am reminded of the profound truth that Thou art with us even in our weakest moments. "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure." O Lord, I thank Thee for this reminder that our struggles are often placed before us to keep us humble and reliant upon Thee.

Lord, I admit that in my life, too, I carry various thorns—be they burdens of illness, heartache, or situations that seem insurmountable. I beseech Thee as Paul did; I cry out not once, nor twice, but thrice and more, seeking relief and healing from these afflictions. Yet, Lord, I recognize that in my suffering, there is purpose. I surrender these thorns to Thee, trusting in Your divine plan for my life.

Thou hast promised me, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." How humbling it is to consider that my weaknesses are not the end of my story, but rather, they are the canvas upon which Your strength is displayed. Help me, dear Lord, to embrace my frailties and to see them as opportunities for Your power to rest upon me. May I no longer recoil from my struggles but rather take pleasure in them, as Paul teaches, knowing that they draw me closer to the heart of Christ.

Oh Lord, I long to embody the faith and resilience of Paul. Teach me to glean wisdom from each hardship that I encounter. "Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." May this truth resonate deeply within my soul, enveloping me in the peace that surpasses all understanding.

I understand, Father, that my comfort is not in the absence of suffering, but in the presence of Christ during those times. Grant me the grace to recognize Jesus in my trials. Let me find solace and courage in those moments, knowing that He is my stronghold and my refuge. May Your spirit empower me to respond to challenges not with fear, but with a spirit of hope and strength, reflecting Your glory.

Lord Jesus, I lift up everyone who is currently feeling crushed by their burdens. I ask that you would pour Your grace upon them, just as You have upon me. Bring comfort and assurance to those who are weary. May they feel Your presence encircling them, reminding them that in their weakness, they are not alone.

As I move forward, help me to remember this transformative truth. Enable me to share my testimony of Your goodness, that through my brokenness, others may see Your strength. May my life serve as a witness that Your grace is indeed sufficient, and Your power, perfect in every weakness.

I submit my heart and my struggles to Thee, trusting that You are working all things for mine good. Thank You, Lord, for the mercies that are new each day, for the hope I find in You, and for the promise that even in my trials, I am never outside of Your divine will.
