A Prayer for Leadership and Legacy

Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart full of reverence and awe, seeking Your presence and wisdom as I reflect on the Scripture from 2 Kings 15:13, ‘Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.’ As we contemplate the brief reign of Shallum, I am reminded of the fragility of power and the profound impact that leadership can have on a community and a nation.
