A Prayer for Peace and Resolution

O Lord, our God, who reigneth supreme over all the earth and whose wisdom surpasseth all understanding, we come before Thee with hearts humbled and minds prepared to seek Thy counsel. Help us to recognize, in our hearts, the futility of grudges and resentment. Give us the strength to forgive those who have wronged us and to seek reconciliation, trusting that only through Thy grace can true healing be attained.
Divine Father, in times of strife, we often feel lost and alone. But we draw strength from the truth that Thou art with us in every battle — both seen and unseen. Help us to remember that every conflict can ultimately lead towards Thy purpose for our lives, and with that knowledge instill in us a spirit of perseverance towards peace.
Teach us, O Lord, to value the sound of the trumpet, which signifies not only the end of strife but also the coming together of heart and spirit. Let that sound remind us of Thy promise of restoration and unity among Thy people. Give us discernment to recognize when to hold our ground and when to yield; when to fight for what is right and when to seek peace through humility and sacrifice.
We thank Thee, Lord, for the peace that surpasses all understanding, which Thou hast promised to those who rest in Thee. We pray that this peace will guard our hearts and our minds as we navigate through life. We give thanks for the unity we can find in Christ, and we commend all our plans and efforts to promote peace and reconciliation into Thy capable hands.
