Heavenly Father,

We come before You in humble reverence, acknowledging Your majesty and power. As we reflect on the profound truth encapsulated in Acts 10:41, we are reminded of the significance of witness, chosen by You, Lord.

Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. These words resonate within our hearts, revealing the intimate relationship You have established with those whom You have called. Today, we thank You for choosing witnesses to share the glory of Your resurrection, for it is through their testimony that we come to understand the depth of Your love and the magnitude of Your sacrifice.

Gracious God, we stand in awe of the fact that You did not reveal Yourself to the multitudes in a spectacular display, but rather chose a select few—ordinary men who walked with You, ate with You, and witnessed Your miracles. You entrusted them with the monumental task of sharing the good news of Your resurrection with the world. Lord, we recognize that this choice was not based on merit, but rather on grace. It is a testament to Your divine plan and purpose in our lives.

We thank You, O Lord, for allowing us to be part of this beautiful story. For every believer today is a testament to the truth that You resurrected and continue to work in the hearts of men and women. We marvel at the faithfulness of those early witnesses who, through their lives, bore witness not only to Your miracle of resurrection but also to the transformation that Your presence brings.

Lord, as we think upon those who dined with You after Your resurrection, we are reminded that communion with You is essential. In the breaking of bread and sharing of the cup, we find fellowship, forgiveness, and unity in Your body. We beseech You to draw us closer to Yourself, that we may experience the intimacy that those witnesses had with You. May our hearts be receptive to Your presence, and may we continually seek to dine with You in prayer and worship, knowing that true sustenance comes from You alone.

Father, let us not take for granted the miraculous gift of Your resurrection. In a world fraught with doubt and despair, Your resurrection becomes our beacon of hope and assurance. Grant us the courage to be witnesses of this hope. Just as the early disciples took the message of the resurrection to the farthest reaches, empower us with boldness to share our faith with those around us. In our workplaces, families, and communities, let our lives be marked by the light of Your resurrection.

Help us, Lord, to embody the love and grace that You have shown us. May our actions reflect Your goodness and lead others to seek You. As we are reminded of the chosen witnesses, we ask that You equip us to be modern-day disciples, who embody the faith, passion, and integrity that they exhibited in their lives.

Sweet Jesus, we also pray for those who are still distant from Your grace, those who have not yet experienced the joy of having a personal relationship with You. We intercede for them, asking that You soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of Your resurrection. Let us be instruments of Your peace, proclaiming the message of hope and salvation to them through our words and our deeds.

In closing, dear Lord, we thank You for the gift of witnesses—both past and present—who have shared Your story with us. We pray for their strength, protection, and guidance as they continue to serve You. May we honor their legacy by living lives that glorify Your name and reflect Your love.
