Heavenly Father,

We come before You in reverence and awe, seeking Your presence as we meditate on the powerful words of Acts 13:1: "Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul." Lord, we praise You for the community of faith that existed in Antioch, a beacon of hope and a center of Your mission for the early church, showcasing the diverse yet unified body of believers.

Father, just as You raised up prophets and teachers in Antioch, we ask for Your Spirit to be poured out upon our churches today. Raise up those who will boldly proclaim Your truth, those who will teach Your Word with clarity and passion, and those who will speak prophetically into our time. We pray for men and women who are sensitive to Your voice, who will not shy away from the hard truths that need to be spoken. In a world filled with confusion and distraction, may they stand as lights in the darkness, illuminating the path for others to walk in Your ways.

Lord, we thank You for the diverse backgrounds that shaped the ministry in Antioch. Each leader, each teacher, and prophet came from different walks of life—Barnabas, filled with encouragement; Simeon, with a unique heritage; Lucius, from Cyrene, bringing a perspective from a far land; Manaen, who knew privilege as he grew up with Herod; and Saul, the zealous former persecutor, now transformed by Your grace. Help us to embrace this diversity within our own churches, understanding that we are called to a greater purpose than just our individual experiences. May our differences be celebrated and utilized for Your glory.

We pray for unity among the leaders in our churches. In a world that often seeks to divide, we ask for a spirit of harmony to flow through our fellowship. Let us be like those in Antioch, where differences did not create discord but instead fostered collaboration and power in preaching the Good News. Let leaders come together, regardless of background or former paths, converging in Your purpose for our communities and the world.

Lord, guide us as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission, just as those prophets and teachers in Antioch did. May each member of our congregations recognize their role in Your kingdom work. Empower us with boldness to step outside our comfort zones, whether that is sharing the Gospel with our neighbors or supporting missionaries and local missions. Show us how to be faithful stewards of the grace and gifts You have bestowed upon us.

As we lead and teach, may we be models of humility and service, reflecting the heart of Christ, who came not to be served but to serve. Help us remember that each step we take in obedience is a step toward fulfilling Your purposes. Encourage us during moments of doubt, reminding us that You called us, just as You called Saul and the others. We pray that Your Spirit would provide us with the wisdom to discern Your voice as we act, strategize, and plan for ministry.

Finally, Lord, we dedicate our churches to You today. May we be known for our love, our prayerfulness, and our dedication to Your Word. Stir in our hearts a desire for revival, a passion to see the lost come to know You as Lord and Savior. We believe that with Your guidance and power, we, like the church of Antioch, can be a launching pad for missionaries and a stronghold of truth in our communities.
