Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, seeking to draw nearer to Your divine presence. In this sacred moment, we reflect on the profound truth of Acts 2:22-24, as rendered in the King James Version: "Men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it."

O Lord, it is through Your perfect plan and sovereign will that we have come to know the glorious story of Jesus, our Savior. We marvel at how You chose to send Your Son, Jesus of Nazareth, to walk among us as a man, fully human yet fully divine. We acknowledge His ministry, marked by miracles, wonders, and signs that testified to His identity and Your love for us. As we meditate on these miraculous acts, Lord, we recognize them as tokens of Your approval—evidence of Your relentless pursuit of humanity’s heart.

In the days of His flesh, Jesus showed compassion, healed the sick, comforted the brokenhearted, and called the sinner to repentance. He embodied love in action. Help us, Lord, to emulate His example in our daily lives, to be conduits of Your grace and mercy to those around us. Teach us to love as He loved, to serve as He served, and to speak the truth boldly, as He did. May our hearts be stirred to perform acts of kindness that reflect Your wonder and goodness in the world.

As we ponder the events leading to the cross, we are filled with sorrow knowing that it was our sins that led Him to be delivered to the hands of wicked men. We acknowledge, O Lord, the stark reality that we, too, have participated in this act of rebellion against You. Forgive us for the times we have turned away from Your ways and embraced the darkness of our own desires. Thank You for the reminder that even in our brokenness, You saw fit to allow Jesus to bear our iniquities, taking upon Himself the punishment we deserved.

Indeed, it is by Your determinate counsel and foreknowledge that You orchestrated the path to salvation through His suffering. It gives us hope to know that, even through the darkest hours, Your ultimate plan of redemption was being fulfilled. Lord, teach us to trust in Your sovereign hand even when our circumstances seem bleak. May we continuously seek Your wisdom and guidance, leaning not on our own understanding but on Your unfailing truth.

And what joy fills our hearts as we proclaim the glorious truth of the resurrection! "Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it." Father, we thank You for the victory over death and the assurance that through Jesus, we too have been given eternal life. Let this truth transform our lives, ignite a passion within us to share the Gospel, and embolden us to proclaim Your name wherever we go. May we be living testimonies of Your power, mercy, and grace.

As we stand in the shadow of the cross and the brilliance of the resurrection, we ask that You empower us by Your Spirit to live boldly in faith, rejoicing in our Savior's victory. May our lives reflect the hope that is found in Christ alone. We surrender our plans and desires to You, confident that You will use us for Your glory and purposes.
