O Lord, our God, the Creator of the universe, we humbly come before You today, recognizing Your sovereignty and greatness. Your Word declares in Deuteronomy 5:7, "Thou shalt have none other gods before me." We stand in awe of Your holiness, and today, we dedicate our hearts, minds, and souls to You, committing to serve You alone as our One True God.

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge the temptations that surround us in our world today. It is so easy to be distracted by the allurements of this life: the god of materialism, the god of fame, the god of self. Each day, we are faced with choices that test our dedication to You. Father, forgive us for the times we have let these false gods take precedence over our relationship with You. Cleanse us of our distractions, and help us to eliminate anything in our lives that seeks to rival our devotion to You.

Lord, we commit to You our desires and pursuits. Help us to align them with Your will, for we know that fulfillment can only be found in You. May our love for You overshadow our desires for the things of this world. Teach us, O God, to find our satisfaction solely in Your presence. Let us not be swayed by the voices of modern-day idols that promise joy and fulfillment but only lead to emptiness and despair. Guide us to seek You first, knowing that everything we need will be added unto us.

As Your Word has instructed us, we will not place any other gods before You. We declare that You are our only source of hope and strength. We pray for discernment amidst a culture that often glorifies other priorities. Help us to remain steadfast in our allegiance to You, rejecting anything that tries to take Your place in our hearts. May our lives reflect our commitment to serve and honor You above all.

Lord, we ask for Your guidance as we navigate our daily lives. May we approach every decision, every relationship, and every challenge with a heart devoted to you. Instill in us a spirit of worship that honors Your greatness in both our successes and our trials. Let us be reminded that You are with us at every moment, and when we look to You first, we can find peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray, O God, that our homes be sanctuaries of worship, free from the influence of any false gods. May every conversation, every action, and every thought be guided by Your truth. Teach us to proclaim Your name, not only through our spoken words but through the way we live our lives. Empower us to be Your witnesses, shining Your light in a dark world, pointing others to the hope that can only be found in a relationship with You.
