A Prayer for Divine Healing and Protection
"And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee." - Deuteronomy 7:15

Heavenly Father,
We come before Your throne of grace with hearts that are grateful for Your unfailing promises. Lord, as we meditate on the words of Deuteronomy 7:15, we are reminded of Your extraordinary love and the authority You hold over every ailment and distress that may come our way. You declared, ‘And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.’ This verse resounds like a melody of hope in our hearts, and today, we lift our voices in prayer, claiming the divine healing and protection that only You can provide.
Father, we exalt You as the Great Physician, the One who knows all our weaknesses, our fears, and our struggles. We lay before You every sickness and every disease, every burden that weighs down our bodies and our spirits. Your Word assures us that You have the power to take away all sickness. We trust in Your divine ability to cleanse us, to heal us, and to restore us from the afflictions that threaten to overtake us.
Lord, we pray for those among us who are currently suffering from illnesses. We intercede on their behalf, asking for Your healing touch upon them. By Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We believe in that promise; we believe in the power of Your Word to enact change in their bodies. Lord, for every pain, every discomfort, and for every disease that afflicts them, we pray for complete and miraculous healing in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your healing flow through them like a river, bringing life, restoration, and revival to their weary bodies.
In light of Your promise, we also ask for protection from the evil diseases of Egypt, the sicknesses that once plagued those who were in bondage, the very ailments that attack the minds and bodies of those who do not know You. May we not know these diseases; may they have no power over us. Cover us, O Lord, under the shadow of Your wings, where no evil shall dwell. We ask that You build a hedge of protection around our homes, our families, and our communities, driving out every form of sickness that seeks to invade our lives.
We recognize the reality of a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, where disease can be threatening and pervasive. Yet we choose to focus on Your promise, holding onto the truth that You do not wish for us to suffer in this way. We stand firm in the assurance that You will not allow the cursing of the wicked to come upon us. Lord, may all who hate and wish harm upon us bear the consequences of their actions, while we dwell in the safety of Your peace and protection.
As we petition for healing and safety, may our hearts remain steadfast in trusting in Your providence. Teach us to rely on Your grace when healing is slow in coming, helping us to seek solace in Your presence. Let us be witnesses of Your healing power in our lives, sharing testimonies of Your goodness and mercy with others. Allow our faith to be a beacon that draws others to You, the Healer of all things.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for the assurance that in life and in death, in health and in sickness, You are with us. No disease can separate us from Your love, and Your promise stands firm for all who believe. Keep us grounded in faith, Lord, and help us extend the grace we have received to those who are in need of healing, hope, and revival.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus, our Savior, our Healer, and our Deliverer.
Amen.
