A Prayer of Generations: Seeking Wisdom and Understanding

“And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.” — Genesis 11:13

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, acknowledging the depth and profound significance contained within the pages of Your holy Word. Specifically, we reflect upon the lineage presented in Genesis 11:13, where it is written, "And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters." This verse, seemingly simple on the surface, speaks volumes about the mighty heritage and the generations that have come before us. As we sit in Your presence, Lord, we are reminded of the importance of our ancestors and the legacy they have left behind.
