O Lord Most High, Creator of Heaven and Earth, I come before You this day with a humble heart, reflecting on the words from Your Holy Scripture as it is written in Genesis 28:18: "And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it."

Heavenly Father, just as Jacob awoke from that profound dream, encountering You in the very place that was simple and ordinary, I too seek to awaken and rise early in the morning to seek Your face. I desire that every dawning moment be filled with a fresh encounter with You. Teach me to be like Jacob, who recognized that the place of his rest became a sacred space when he acknowledged Your presence within it.

Lord, Jacob’s act of taking the stone that had been his pillow reminds me of the burdens and struggles that I often carry. This stone, once a mere object for comfort during the night, transformed into a pillar for Your glory. Help me, dear God, to see the trials and tribulations in my life as not just burdens but as stones that can be lifted and transformed into altars of worship and testimony.

Father, I pour out my own stones—the worries, anxieties, and fears—before You. I place them at Your feet, believing that with Your power, they can become the very testimonies that proclaim Your greatness. Let me not be afraid to acknowledge my struggles, but instead give me the courage to lay them down and rise in faith, just as Jacob did.

As Jacob poured oil upon the top of the stone, a symbol of blessing, empowerment, and anointing, may I too seek the oil of Your Holy Spirit. Fill my heart with Your presence, and cover my life with Your anointing. Let me feel the richness of Your grace pouring over me, transforming the mundane into the sacred, and my weaknesses into strengths.

Lord, I dedicate this day to You. I offer my life—every stone, every challenge—as an act of worship. Just as Jacob anointed the pillar, anoint me anew with Your wisdom and guidance. Let my heart be a vessel of Your love overflowing to those around me. Teach me to abide in You, so that, like the oil Jacob poured, I may be a source of encouragement and upliftment to those who are weary and broken.

May my life be a testimony to Your faithfulness, echoing Jacob’s encounter with You. I pray for eyes to see the divine in the ordinary and the remarkable within the routine. Grant me discernment to recognize those moments where You reveal Yourself in unexpected ways, speaking into my life just as You did with Jacob.

Heavenly Father, I ask that You strengthen my resolve to rise early—physically and spiritually. Let prayer be my first action of the day, an opportunity to align my thoughts with Your will. As I rise, may I rise with purpose, clarity, and intentionality guided by Your Spirit.

As I stand tall on the pillars of faith, hope, and love, remind me that I am not alone. Just as You promised Jacob and were with him on his journey, I too hold onto the promise of Your presence in my life. May each day, I rise with the assurance that You go before me, guiding my steps and covering me with Your grace.

I thank You, Lord, for the transformation that comes when I lay my stones before You. I pray for a deeper understanding of what it means to dedicate my life to You fully. May the oil of Your anointing flow through me, turning my ordinary existence into a monument of Your glory.
