We thank You for the promise that comes with her, for Jerusalem is not merely a place on the map; it is the embodiment of Your divine purpose and a testament to Your faithful covenant with Your people.

As Your Word instructs us: "Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her." These words resonate deeply in our hearts, inviting us to unite in celebration and also to share in the sorrows of those who grieve. We lift up our voices, Lord, to join the chorus of joy that surrounds Jerusalem. We embrace the hope that arises from her foundations and the praise that rings out from her walls. May our hearts be stirred to shout for joy, for we recognize that true joy is found in the acceptance and love of Your Son, Jesus Christ—a gift given to all who believe.

Lord, as we rejoice, we remember those who mourn for Jerusalem. You know well the trials and tribulations that have marked her history. In Your divine wisdom, You have woven together the threads of loss and hope, guiding Your people through the darkest valleys towards Your radiant light. For every tear that has been shed, we pray Your comfort, dear Father. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around those who weep, ensuring they feel Your presence in their pain and uncertainty.
