Lord, we lift up our pastors, teachers, and all who are tasked with leading Your people. We acknowledge the great responsibility they bear in guiding the souls entrusted to them. We pray that they would seek Your face diligently, drawing from the well of Your wisdom and grace rather than relying on their own understanding. Teach them the depths of Your heart, Father, that they may shepherd with love and not with disdain, with gentleness and not arrogance.

Father, we ask for protection over our leaders from the insidious influences that seek to destroy and scatter Your flock. May they hold fast to the teachings of Christ, remembering that it is Your voice, Lord, that brings peace, clarity, and unity to the church.

God, we also pray for the hearts of the sheep—the congregation that is so deeply impacted by the pastors’ lead. Lord, help us all to have a discerning spirit, able to recognize both truth and error. We pray that the flock would not be naive, but instead empowered by Your Holy Spirit to test all spirits and teachings against the ultimate authority of the Scriptures.
