O Lord God Almighty, Creator of the heavens and the earth, I come before You with a humble heart and a sincere desire for Your truth to reign in my life and in the world around me. I stand on the powerful words of Jeremiah 23:25-26, which remind me that You, Lord, are aware of the lies that are spoken in Your name. The prophets of deceit have risen, echoing their dreams as if they were divine revelations, while their hearts are filled with the deceitful inclinations of their own minds. "I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed." These words resonate deeply, illuminating the dangers we face when we place our trust in human understanding rather than relying on You, the ultimate source of wisdom and truth.

Father, I ask that You grant me discernment, that I may not be swayed by eloquent words or enticing ideas that deviate from Your Scripture. Help me to pry apart the truth from the lies that may pervade my thoughts and the messages that surround me. In a world where voices clamor for attention and philosophies vie for acceptance, give me the courage to seek only those teachings that align with Your unchanging Word. May I always test the spirits, as your Word instructs (1 John 4:1), being aware that there are many deceivers who would lead me astray.

Lord, I lament the fact that many have fallen prey to these deceitful prophets, who project their own dreams and visions as if they come from You. "How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies?" I ask. These questions cry out for justice, for revelation, and for accountability. I pray that You will unveil these false prophets and expose the intentions of their hearts. Let Your light shine upon those who misuse Your name for their own gain and those who lead others away from the truth of Your Word.

Mighty God, strengthen me and my fellow believers to stand firm in the face of deception. Equip us with Your Spirit of truth, that we may be bold in proclaiming Your Gospel and unwavering in our faith. Let us encourage one another in love, promoting unity within the body of Christ. May we seek knowledge, wisdom, and understanding through diligent study of the Scriptures, for it is in Your Word that we find the truth that sets us free (John 8:32).

As I reflect upon the passages of Jeremiah, I am reminded of Your profound concern for Your people, and of the richness of Your promises. You are the Good Shepherd who guides us with Your rod and staff, directing us away from danger towards safety and peace. In Your lap, I find solace and a refuge from the unrest that comes from trusting in the lies of the world.

Heavenly Father, allow Your prophetic voice to resonate in my heart, leading me to Your truth. Help me discern the genuine from the counterfeit, the light from the darkness. I pray for those who are lost, who cling to dreams that are not ordained by You, that they might encounter the realness of Your presence and the fullness of Your truth. May we continually strive to lift one another up and spur each other on in faith.
