Teach us, mighty God, to love justly and walk humbly, as Your word instructs.
We yearn for restoration in our hearts and in our communities. Just as You promised to avenge Your people in the time of Jeremiah, invigorate us with hope and expectation that, in due time, You will set things right. Impress upon us the assurance that nothing under heaven escapes Your sight and that You will rectify every injustice in due season. We plead Your promises over our lives and our nations, that Your justice would roll on like a river and Your righteousness like a never-failing stream.
Lord, give us the strength and endurance to be Your vessels in this world. Help us to be agents of change, as we partner with Your Spirit to bring hope and healing to those around us. Let our prayers rise to You like incense, and may we be instruments of Your peace, shining Your light in the darkest places.
