A Prayer for Deliverance and Salvation

"And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death." - Joshua 2:13

"And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death." - Joshua 2:{verse.verse_number}

O Lord Almighty, the God of all creation,

I humbly come before You today with a heart full of worship and reverence.

As I stand in the shadow of Your greatness, I am reminded of the words spoken through Your faithful servant, Rahab, who entreated for mercy, saying, ‘And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death’ (Joshua 2:13 KJV).

Lord, just as Rahab sought to protect her loved ones in the face of imminent danger, I too lift up the names of my family and friends before You.

I ask that You hear my prayer for their deliverance, for we live in a world filled with perils and uncertainties that threaten our very existence.

Just as Rahab displayed her faith through her actions, I express my faith in You, O God, and I trust in Your abundant mercy and grace to cover and protect those dear to my heart.

Heavenly Father, I pray for my father and mother.

In their years of labor, sacrifice, and love, they have nurtured and guided me.

I ask that You surround them with Your protection, granting them health, peace, and the assurance of Your saving grace.

May they feel Your presence close to them, even in their struggles and fears.

Preserve them, O Lord, and save them alive as promised in Your Word to all who call upon Your name.

As I think of my brothers and sisters, I lift them before You, each unique in their struggles, each of them facing challenges that sometimes seem insurmountable.

I pray that You grant them wisdom, light, and direction as they navigate their lives.

Deliver them from the trials that threaten to pull them into darkness.

Like Rahab, may they also come to understand the importance of making choices that align with Your will, ensuring their safety and peace.

Oh Lord, I boldly bring before You the request to save all that they have, for our possessions pale in comparison to our souls that need salvation.

Help us to remember that life is not measured by earthly goods but by our relationship with You and each other.

Instill in each of us a heart of gratitude, allowing us to cherish one another and use all that You have blessed us with for Your glory.

Lord, I hold up my loved ones, our families, and friends, to You.

In the face of sickness, anxiety, and despair that looms over many, I plead for Your healing touch and deliverance from the burdens that weigh heavy on our hearts.

Bring to us the hope and promise of salvation through Jesus Christ, who came to heal the sick, free the oppressed, and give us life, and life more abundantly.

Father, in our weaknesses, may we find strength in You.

Just as Rahab chose to align herself with Your people, may we choose daily to align ourselves with Your purposes.

Grant us the wisdom to be a source of light and love to our families, fostering an environment where trust in You flourishes.

Let our homes be places of refuge, not just from worldly danger, but also from fear and doubt.

We pray that Your salvation would not only touch our lives but extend outward, bringing a ripple of hope to our communities.

In closing, I thank You, O Lord, for hearing my cry.

May our faith be unwavering, our hearts steadfast, and may we rest in the assurance that You are our deliverer.

I declare that we shall not fear death, despair, or calamity as we walk closely with You.

Keep us all alive, O Lord, under the shelter of Your wings, safe from harm and secure in Your love.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.
