Most Holy and Faithful LORD, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, I come before Thee with reverence and awe, trusting not in my own strength, but in Thy covenant love and Thy sure promises. I thank Thee for Thy Word that reveals Thy power, Thy nearness, and Thy faithfulness in every generation. Today I set my heart upon Joshua 3:17, and I confess that my soul needs the same God who made a way where there was no way. For it is written, “And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.”

LORD, I bless Thee for the ark of the covenant, for it speaks of Thy holy presence and Thy rule among Thy people. Teach me to honor Thee as the One who goes before, the One who leads, the One who commands, and the One who saves. Let my life be ordered around Thy presence, and let my steps be governed by Thy Word. Where I have treated holy things lightly, forgive me; where I have rushed ahead of Thy counsel, correct me; where I have feared the waters more than I have trusted Thy promise, strengthen me.

Father, I pray for the grace to “stood firm” as the priests did. When Thou callest me to stand, let me stand. When my heart trembles, make me steadfast. When my mind is crowded with questions, make me faithful. When the current seems strong, remind me that obedience is not measured by ease, but by trust. LORD, establish my feet on the “dry ground” Thou hast prepared, and make me courageous to remain in the place of duty, even “in the midst of Jordan.” Give me a spirit that does not retreat at the sound of rushing waters, nor bend under the pressure of uncertainty. Let me stand firm in prayer, stand firm in integrity, stand firm in truth, and stand firm in love.

Lord God, I also pray for those whom my obedience touches. Thy Word says, “and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground.” Make me mindful that my faith is never meant to be private pride, but a channel of blessing to others. If Thou hast entrusted me with responsibilities—at home, at work, in ministry, in friendship—teach me to carry them with humility and holiness, as the priests bare the ark. Let my life be a witness that Thou art present, that Thou art powerful, and that Thou art good. Use my steadiness to bring stability to my family, courage to my companions, and hope to those who are weary.

LORD, I ask Thee for a clean crossing. Thy Word declares, “until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.” I pray not for a partial deliverance, but for complete obedience; not for a temporary breakthrough, but for lasting transformation; not for a momentary relief, but for a settled faith. Bring me clean over every Jordan set before me—over fear and into faith, over confusion and into clarity, over compromise and into holiness, over bitterness and into forgiveness, over delay and into Thy appointed time. Make the passage thorough: heal what is wounded, restore what has been broken, and align what has been crooked.

LORD, where I have been standing at the edge, hesitating, waiting for perfect conditions, remind me that Thou art the God who parts rivers, not because Thy people are mighty, but because Thou art faithful. Grant me a willing heart to follow Thee step by step. Teach me to trust Thee in the middle, not only at the beginning. Let me learn that the place where the waters once threatened can become the place where Thy power is most clearly seen.

And now, O LORD, I commit my journey to Thee. Let Thy presence lead, let Thy holiness guard, let Thy power make a way, and let Thy peace keep my heart. Make me among those who pass over in faith, and make me among those who stand firm in service. I praise Thee, for Thou art the LORD who brings Thy people through. In Thy holy name I pray, Amen.
