Heavenly Father,

Lord, as we think about the consequences that fell upon Jericho, the city that was set apart for destruction, I also recognize the gravity of sin and its ability to ensnare entire communities. I grieve for those who are lost, who remain blind and unaware of their impending ruin. Today, I come before You, lifting them up in prayer. May my heart become burdened for those around me who have not yet heard of Your saving grace. Allow me to be a vessel through which Your truth flows, just as Rahab was a conduit for Your plan. Empower me to share my testimony and to speak with boldness, that there may be many who find refuge in Your loving embrace.

Lord, I also remember Rahab's family who were spared due to her faith. I ask for divine protection and salvation for my loved ones. Just as You honored Rahab’s faith, I ask that You extend mercy to my family and friends, so they too may experience Your grace. Draw them closer to You, Father. May my life and my prayers stand as a testimony to Your power to save, even the most unlikely among us. I pray specifically for those in my life who are struggling, who may feel abandoned or lost. Reach out to them, draw them into Your love, and let them find refuge in You.

Father, as I reflect on this powerful narrative, I ask for wisdom. Teach me not to judge others through the lens of my own understanding but to see them as You see them—worthy of grace, of redemption, and of Your love. Help me to embody compassion as I walk among those who feel cursed by their past actions. Your Word tells us that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. May this truth resonate deeply within me, guiding how I treat those around me.
