A Prayer of Thanksgiving and Dedication
"So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the LORD: and the angel did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on." - Judges 13:19

Heavenly Father, Almighty God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord of all creation, I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude and admiration for Your wondrous works. As we reflect upon the scripture in Judges 13:19, which says, "So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the LORD: and the angel did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on," I am reminded of the faithfulness that You display to those who seek You with humility and sincerity.
Lord, just as Manoah sought Your presence through an offering, I, too, desire to bring my life as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto You (Romans 12:1). I ask that You accept my prayers and praises as a fragrant offering that rises up to Your throne, just as Manoah’s offering was accepted on that rock. Teach me, dear Lord, to acknowledge Your greatness and to recognize the ways You are moving in my life even when they are not immediately visible.
Father, I thank You for the gifts and resources You have entrusted to me. Just as Manoah offered a kid and a meat offering, I commit to offering my time, talents, and treasures back to You. Help me to remember that everything I have is a blessing from Your gracious hand. Stir within me the desire to give sacrificially and cheerfully, knowing that this is an act of worship and an expression of my love for You.
Lord, I am in awe of the wondrous things You do. You are the God who performs miracles and works wonders beyond our comprehension. I pause to reflect on the times You have intervened in my life, brought me comfort in my distress, provided for my needs, and healed my brokenness. Like Manoah and his wife, may I remain expectant and watchful for Your hand at work. Teach me to see Your reflections of grace in the simple and the profound.
Gracious God, as I meditate on Your Word today, I pray for the faith of Manoah and his wife. They witnessed a miraculous encounter with the angel of the Lord; help me, O Lord, to have that same childlike faith and expectancy. When I encounter challenges, help me to remember that You are faithful and that I am not alone. May I lean on You during moments of doubt and fear, trusting that Your plan for my life is good (Jeremiah 29:11).
Additionally, Father, I lift up those in my life who do not yet know of Your wondrous works. Just as Manoah and his wife were chosen to be part of Your plan for raising a deliverer, I pray that You would continue to use me in the lives of others to reveal Your goodness. Help me to share my testimony with boldness and joy, so that others may experience Your love and grace.
Let me also be a partner with others in prayer, just as Manoah prayed and sought understanding. Help me to intercede on behalf of my family, friends, and community, believing in the power of prayer that can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). Lord, teach me the power of unity in prayer, and let me never underestimate the impact that one faithful prayer can have.
As I conclude my prayer, I reaffirm my commitment to You. I place my heart and my offerings upon the rock of Your foundation, trusting that You will do wondrously in my life and in the lives of those around me. I stand in awe of You, dear God, just as Manoah and his wife stood in awe of the angel. I await each new day with hope and expectation, eager to witness Your glory revealed.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
