Heavenly Father,

We come before You in reverence and humility, recognizing Your sovereignty and Your unending love for us. As we meditate upon the story of Samson and Delilah as recorded in Judges 16:16, we are reminded of the weight of temptation and the dangers that can arise when our convictions are tested. The verse states, "And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death." Lord, we acknowledge that each of us faces pressures from the world that can be relentless and overwhelming.

Father, we ask for strength in moments of vulnerability. Just as Samson was pressed daily by Delilah, we are often bombarded by the voices of temptation in our own lives. May our faith serve as a shield against all fiery darts, and may we wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word.
