And so, with tears that flow for the suffering, with hearts that tremble with empathy, we commit to being Your hands and feet—bringing nourishment to the hungry, support to the downtrodden, and love to the unloved. May we also find the strength in our own sorrow as we lean on You, the Source of all comfort. May our tears water seeds of hope that will one day bear fruit in restoration and healing, not just for us, but especially for the least of these.
