O Gracious and Everlasting God,

Sometimes, without our understanding, we allow spiritual and moral impurities to take root within us. Heavenly Father, as we pour out the dust into unclean places, we seek forgiveness for the times we have clung to our sins, believing that they could somehow bring us satisfaction or fulfillment. Help us to turn away from the fleeting pleasures of this world, and instead, draw us closer to You.
We look forward to being witnesses of Your marvelous works, as You redeem and restore us. In our purification, let our lives be a testimony to the greatness of Who You are. We pray this in anticipation of the new life You promise us, one that brings praise and glory to Your Holy Name.
