O Gracious and Mighty Lord,

Lord, may we be the embodiment of Your love, intent on weaving together the diverse threads of our community for the purpose of glorifying Your Name.
As the priest burns the offering upon the altar, upon the wood that is already set ablaze, we are called to envision the fragrant smoke rising as a sweet savor unto You. Help us to understand that our offerings—be they of time, talent, or treasure—are to be consumed in Your presence, not for our gain but solely for Your glory. Help us cultivate a lifestyle of sacrifice that reflects Your endless grace, that we may lift our hearts and hands in worship, offering everything with a spirit of thankfulness.
We pray that our worship may ascend like incense before You—pure, holy, and delightful. May we completely surrender ourselves in service and sacrifice. Teach us, Lord, how to give sacrificially, just as You offered Your Son, Jesus Christ, as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. In every act of kindness, every prayer uttered, and every moment of worship, let them rise before You as a sweet aroma—pleasing and acceptable to You.
Guide us as we navigate our lives amid trials and tribulations, solidifying our resolve to remain committed to sacrifice for what is right. Ignite within us a passion to share Your love, and let our lives glorify Your name through the sacrifices we make for others. May we find joy in giving of ourselves, transforming our hearts to reflect the heart of Christ.
