Heavenly Father,

Lord, I thank You for the riches of Your Word, for every verse is a testament to Your love and interaction with humanity.

I pray, dear Lord, that You would instill in me the spirit of hospitality that Martha displayed. Grant me the grace to receive others with love and a willing heart, just as she received You into her abode. I lift up women and men like Martha who may feel overwhelmed by their responsibilities. Remind them gently of their intrinsic value in Your kingdom, that their efforts, no matter how small, are of great significance. Assure them that their labor is not in vain, and that their love and diligence bless others far beyond their understanding.
In this prayer, I echo the sentiments of my heart, asking for a transformation in both my spirit and my actions. Let the spirit of Martha dwell in me, combining a heart for service with the knowledge that sitting at Your feet is where true peace and fulfillment lie.
