A Prayer for Divine Priorities and Kingdom Pursuit

"¶ But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." - Luke 12:31

"¶ But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." - Luke 12:{verse.verse_number}

O Heavenly Father,

In the sacred stillness of this moment, I humbly bow before Your throne of grace, lifting my voice in gratitude for the gift of life and for the unsearchable riches found in You. Truly, I echo the profound words from the book of Luke, chapter 12, verse 31, which reminds us, ‘But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.’ Lord, these words resonate deep within my spirit, as they illuminate the path to true fulfillment and purpose that You have laid before me.

Father, I thank You for revealing the importance of prioritizing Your kingdom above all else. In a world filled with distractions and temptations that seek to draw my focus away from You, I recognize the urgent need to seek first Your kingdom. Help me, Lord, to chase after Your heart, to long for Your presence, and to yearn for Your righteousness in every aspect of my life. May my pursuit of You overshadow my desires for worldly possessions or transient pleasures.

As I come before You, I confess that there have been times when my heart has wandered from seeking Your kingdom. I have allowed worries about daily provisions, success, and approval to consume my thoughts and diminish my faith. Lord, forgive me for the moments of doubt and for the shadows of anxiety that have crept into my mind. Your Word reassures me that You know my needs even before I bring them to You, and that You are a good Father who delights in providing for Your children.

In accordance with Your promise, I ask for a fresh outpouring of faith and trust in my heart, that I might fully believe that when I prioritize seeking You, all that I need will follow. I desire to move beyond a place of fear and uncertainty, and instead embrace the peace that comes from fully resting in Your providence.

Lord God, in my seeking, teach me how to align my priorities with Yours. Help me to recognize what truly matters in life—the things that have eternal significance and the investments that yield lasting rewards in Your kingdom. I pray for wisdom and discernment as I navigate my daily decisions. Instill in me a deep desire to engage in acts of love, service, and mercy toward others, as they reflect Your heart and character to the world.

As I seek Your kingdom, let me become a vessel of Your light. Allow me to share the good news of Your love with those around me, showing them the hope we have in Christ. Equip me with the courage to step boldly into opportunities to serve and bless others, knowing that as I give of myself, I am actively participating in the building of Your kingdom.

I also pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ who may be struggling with the pressures of life or the burden of worldly expectations. May we come together in unity, encouraging one another to place our focus solely on You. Let our lives be a testament that as we pursue Your kingdom, we become agents of change in our communities, reflecting Your love and truth in our actions.

Lord, let each day be a new beginning in my quest for Your kingdom. May I seek it earnestly, knowing that in doing so, Your promise holds true—that all these things shall be added unto me. Your kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost, and these are what I desire over the fleeting comforts of this world.

Thank You, Father, for the assurance that my pursuit of You will bear fruit. May I always remember the powerful promise of Your Word. Help me to remain steadfast and intentional in my journey of seeking Your kingdom first.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
