A Prayer of Restoration and Inheritance
"And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." - Luke 15:31

Heavenly Father,
As I come before You in the stillness of this moment, I am reminded of the profound words of Jesus, as recorded in Luke 15:31: "And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." These words resonate deeply in my spirit, a comforting reminder of the inseparable bond I share with You, my Creator, and the abundance of blessings that flow from Your gracious heart.
Lord, as I reflect on this verse, I acknowledge the relationship You desire with me. It is one of closeness, trust, and acceptance. I thank You for Your unwavering presence in my life. Even in moments of doubt and wandering, I know that I am never far from Your reach. You are the constant companion who walks with me through the valleys and onto the mountaintops. I am grateful, Father, that You have invited me into Your Kingdom, declaring me as Your child.
As I recognize my identity as Your son/daughter, I ask for a deeper understanding of what that means. There are times when I feel unworthy of Your love or distant from Your grace. Help me to grasp the profound truth that all You have is also mine. I pray for a revelation of my inheritance in Christ – the promises of peace, joy, hope, and provision that are mine to claim.
Lord, I confess the moments when I have lived as though I was separated from Your goodness, when I have allowed doubt or fear to cloud my perspective. Forgive me for the times I have doubted my place in Your family, for the moments I have neglected the abundant life You have promised me. Teach me, Father, to walk in the confidence of knowing that I am a co-heir with Christ, fully equipped to receive the blessings You have in store for me.
Help me to realize, Lord, that as Your child, I hold a position of privilege. I pray that my heart would be open to receive all that You have planned for me. Instill in me a spirit of expectancy that recognizes Your goodness in all circumstances. No matter how hopeless a situation may seem, remind me of the verse and the authority with which it was spoken.
Father, in times of need, let me turn to You, knowing that You have provided for me in the past and will continue to do so. I ask for Your provision over my family, my career, and my endeavors. Fill my heart with assurance that as long as I remain in Your presence, I have access to all that You are and all that You own.
I lift my worries and burdens to You now. Help me to release any fears of lack or inadequacy, trusting that Your resources are limitless. Teach me to celebrate my blessings and share freely with others, reflecting Your generosity and love. May I not only accept Your gifts but also pass them along, being a mirror of Your kindness to those around me.
In my journey ahead, Lord, let me never forget that "thou art ever with me." Help me build habits that deepen my relationship with You – through prayer, reading Your Word, and fellowship with other believers. My desire is to remain close to You, connected in spirit, so that I may continue to draw from the well of Your strength.
I pray for a renewed commitment to seek You daily and to look for Your hand in every aspect of my life. May Your words resonate in my heart, reminding me weekly, daily, and moment by moment that You, dear Father, have provided me with all that I need.
In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray,
Amen.
