May it inspire a genuine turning away from sin, leading to a deeper desire for holiness in my life. Let the sorrow of that darkness compel me to share the message of Your love and grace with those in my circles of influence—in my family, at my workplace, and in my community.
As I draw near to You, may the enormity of the darkness at the crucifixion drive me further into the wonders of the cross. For just as the darkness eventually yielded to light, I know that our struggles too will lead to breakthrough and deliverance through You. Thank You, Lord, for the hope we find in Your promises. Help me to never forget the price that was paid for my freedom, and let my life be a reflection of the light that emanates from the cross.
