Today, we reflect on Matthew 1:14, where it is recorded, "And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud." Lord, through this genealogy, we see not just names but a legacy, appointed paths, and a divine plan that has unfolded through countless generations.

Father, as we meditate on this, we are reminded that we are part of a much larger story, woven together in the tapestry of Your creation. We thank You for Azor, Sadoc, Achim, and Eliud, for the faith they embodied and for the hope they passed down through their lineage. May we draw strength from their commitment to You, knowing that each generation is called to carry forth Your light into the world.
