Heavenly Father,

As we come before You today, we are reminded of the words spoken in the Gospel of Matthew 24:25: "Behold, I have told you before." These divine words echo in our hearts, illuminating the path we must tread in a world filled with uncertainties and trials. Lord, we give thanks for Your constant guidance and warnings, for You are the Good Shepherd, and we are Your flock. Your teachings serve as a compass, leading us away from confusion towards the clarity of Your truth.

Father, as we engage with this scripture, we pray for the spirit of discernment. In a time when voices clamor from every direction, help us to discern Your still small voice amidst the noise. Teach us, Lord, to heed the warnings You have provided us with through scripture and through the whispers of the Holy Spirit within us. Let us not be like foolish virgins who neglect to prepare their hearts for Your coming. Guide us instead to be wise and vigilant, always ready with oil in our lamps, so that we may greet You with joy and expectation.

Lord, You have told us beforehand about the challenges and tribulations that would come. Grant us the wisdom to understand these signs of the times and help us to cultivate an attitude of preparedness within our lives. We ask that You remove the veil of ignorance and complacency that may blind us to the truths You have revealed. Ignite in us a passion to study Your Word deeply, so that we may grasp the fullness of what it means to live in accordance with Your will.

As we reflect on the implications of "I have told you before," we recognize that Your word is not merely a warning, but also a promise of Your presence. You have foreseen our struggles, and yet You have assured us that we are not alone in our trials. Lord, in moments of doubt and fear, remind us of Your faithfulness. You have told us before that You will be with us even unto the end of the age; may this promise be our anchor in turbulent times.

Father, we also intercede for those around us who may dismiss Your warnings or remain unaware of Your truths. We pray for the lost, those who wander in darkness, that they may encounter Your light and heed Your call. Use us as vessels of Your love and truth. Let our lives be a testament to Your grace, so that others may be drawn to the hope that we have in You. Equip us with the boldness to share the message You have entrusted to us, that they too may understand what You have told us before, and prepare their hearts for the coming of our Lord.

In our daily lives, help us to practice vigilance. May we be alert to the distractions that seek to pull us away from Your teachings. Protect us from the lure of apathy and the temptation to conform to the patterns of this world. Install in us a hunger for righteousness and a thirst for truth. Teach us to be active participants in the Kingdom of Heaven, working diligently while we await Your return.

Finally, Lord, let this prayer be a declaration of our commitment to walk in Your ways. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You, our ears attuned to Your voice, and our hearts aligned with Your will. When the trials of life feel overwhelming, let us remember that You have told us before and that You are fully in control. We place our trust in You, and find comfort in Your everlasting promises.
