Heavenly Father,

Your arms are wide enough to gather in all who have been cast aside, and Your heart is big enough to heal every wound they carry. We ask for Your Spirit to flow into their hearts, to provide comfort and a renewed sense of belonging in Your family.
Lord Jesus, we acknowledge that You, too, have been acquainted with grief and suffering. You understand the burdens we carry when we feel afflicted. You walked the path of pain, and therefore, we turn to You for strength. We seek comfort in Your word, believing that even in our darkest moments, You are working things out for our good. Thank You for being our refuge and strength, a present help in our times of trouble. Help us to cling to this truth, knowing that our afflictions are indeed temporary, but Your love is eternal.
As we reflect on Your promise in Micah 4:6, let us also be reminded to support one another as You gather us. Encourage us to be instruments of Your peace, to extend love to the halted, the driven out, and the afflicted around us. Inspire us to act with compassion, reaching out in kindness and understanding to those who bear burdens we may not fully comprehend. Help us to be a church that embodies Your gathering spirit, fostering a community where every individual feels valued, loved, and welcomed.
